Often times during my career in law enforcement, I would have asked for my opinion on the best way for someone to defend itself from attack. My answer has always been to lead them to one of the many defensive sprays available in the market. Pepper spray is almost always at the top of the list.
I'd like to tell you about the time when one of my closest friends are very glad that he listened to that advice and pepper spray had with her.
My friend Kathy has just gone through a tough divorce and her now ex-husband was a little bully. He made several veiled threats during their marriage and several intense because they are separated.
After leaving the film one night and said goodbye to her best friend Kathy walked to where her car was parked. As he approached the car received a creepy feeling that kind of spooked her a bit. Kathy is in a state of pure panic as she realized that it has the right to easily get her keychain pepper spray! She was able to easily release the canister from her keys, activate the safety switch and blast her right in the face of an attacker.
Believe me Pepper Shot defensive spray she used had a Scoville Heat Unit Rating of 2 million. It is more than twice as hot as the hottest chile pepper in the world. Her attacker was immediately released her near death grip her throat and began choking and coughing uncontrollably. His eyes were slammed shut and he fell to the floor of the car able to see, speak or breathe freely. Of course, these results are only temporary, lasting about 30 minutes or so. defensive sprays that my friend did not want to buy actually saved her life, giving her time and resources to escape from his vehicle and get to safety.
Why gamble with your security? If you live alone, running, exercising outdoors, travel, attend meetings of strangers in strange places, then you need to protect yourself with one of the many defense spray available today. They are available in many styles and shapes, including a discreet kind of disguised as everyday items like lipstick cases. I'm sure you'll find one that suits your lifestyle well. Do not wait until you need to understand that you do not need it.
